Market Buzz – Final week!!!

Don’t miss the final market of the 2011 season!
  • David’s Guitar Loft is back and will play our favorite tunes from 3:30-5:00 PM.
  • Enjoy a special dance performance from Arts in Motion at 6 PM.
  • Make masks with Jessica and the staff of Verde Kids in the Kids tent.
  • Colleen from Big Sky Cafe is back and will be creating delicious food in our Demonstration tent.
  • Learn more about holistic bodywork from Star of Intrinsic Balance.
And to celebrate the end of a great season, please join us at 7 PM in Gazebo Park for a special performance by the St. Louis Brass Quintet.
Next Thursday, instead of our usual market, we hope you’ll come out for the 2nd Annual Webster Groves Wine and Beer Festival on October 20th from 5-8 PM! Enjoy tastings from Webster restaurants, wine & beer merchants, and a selection of Missouri wineries.  Tickets available this Thursday with proceeds benefiting the farmers market. Market Buzz for October 6th

As this season draws to a close we have special events happening every week!

October 6th – buy a pumpkin at the market to enter in our annual pumpkin decorating competition!

  • Voted Best Folk Band of 2011 by The Riverfront Times, the Lulus will entertain us from 4-7 pm.
  • Hoola hoops and jump ropes are back in the Kids tent!!
  • Stop by the Community tent to learn more about the the Rotary Club of Webster Groves and their annual Pancake Festival.
  • Learn more about wine from the experts at Garland Wines.
  • Need an afternoon pick-me-up? Coffee from Cafe Nura will do the trick!


October 13th
 – our last market of the season!  Winners of the pumpkin decorating competition will be announced, we’ll have live dance from Arts in Motion, and a special closing concert in Gazebo Park by the St. Louis Brass Quintet at 7 PM!

October 20th – come celebrate the end of another great year with our 2nd Annual Wine and Beer Festival!  From 5 -8 pm, enjoy tastings from Webster restaurants, local wine & beer merchants, and a selection of Missouri wineries.

Market Buzz for September 29th

As this season draws to a close we have special events happening every week!

  • Registered dietician Susan Kidwell will be cooking up healthy recipes using sweet potatoes and butternut squash
  • JoAnn Nester, registered nurse for Webster Groves High School will be on hand to conduct free blood pressure checks
  • Tim Brennan from Cravings will be conducting our chef demo and crating a peanut butter and banana cheescake with hot fudge frosting!
  • enjoy live music from traditional blues guitarist Bob Case
  • Bring your young ones by the Kids’ tent for a fun craft courtesy of Verde Kids.

Market Buzz for September 22nd

  • Back again for their final appearance of the season,Wack-a-doo will have us swinging in the street from 5-7 pm.
  • Kids will be making Biscuit Dogs in the kids tent with Jessica and her staff of Verde Kids.
  • Chef Ryan will be cooking and sampling sausages and other products from The Farmers’ Larder in the demonstration tent.
  • At the Community tent, learn more about the Rotary Club’s 53rd Annual Festival of Pancakes.
  • Need an afternoon pick-me-up?  Cafe Nura will be selling hot coffee, coffee beans and more.
Mark your calendar!!  The 2nd Annual Wine & Beer Festival will be held on October 20 from 5-8 pm.

Market Buzz for September 15th

The following vendors are scheduled to appear on Thursday September 15th, 2011:

Events for Thursday September 15th:

Next Thursday, we invite you to bring your dog to the market for our 1st annual Dog Days event.  There will be special treats just for dogs, free dental exams, raffles, and more.

  • Making their debut at the market, DANG will be playing the blues from 5:30-7 pm.
  • At the Kids’ tent, Missouri Botanical Gardens will be making eco-friendly crafts.
  • Chef Ryan will be demonstrating pickling techniques using green beans, okra and cucumbers. Also at the demonstration tent, Penelope Beach will be teaching us how to can those pickles.
  • Stop by the Community tent to find out more about the Rotary Club’s 53rd Annual Festival of Pancakes.
  • In the business tent, learn more about Colonial Village Apartments.
